Sprint Car 101: An Afternoon with Jim Edgington, Dick Forbrook & Stacy Redmond

The Kossuth County Ag & Motorsports Museum announced recently that they will host “Sprint Car 101: An afternoon with Jim Edgington, Dick Forbrook and Stacy Redmond”. The event is presented by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.

The special event will be held, Sunday, March 2, 2014.

Doors open at 1:00 p.m. and the panel discussion, moderated by Chad Meyer, begins at 2:00 p.m.

Sprint Car 101 is free and open to the public.

The Kossuth County Ag & Motorsports Museum is located on the Kossuth County Fairgrounds at 800 East Fair Street (Hwy 169 South), Algona, IA.

Edgington, Forbrook, and Redmond are all inductees into the Kossuth County Racing Hall of Fame. Forbrook and Redmond are also members of the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame. All three enjoyed success at the Algona race track in modifieds before making the jump to sprint cars.

    Are you going to video or tape the afternoon with Edgington, Forbrook, Redmond, they are my childhood hero’s and I’d love to get a copy of it since I’m out here in Colorado and can’t get away, I spent many Friday nights at Fairmont speedway and Saturdays at Jackson speedway, Thank You Scott Banton
