The Kossuth County Ag & Motorsports Museum and the Kossuth County Racing Hall of Fame was saddened to learn of the passing of 2010 inductee Ron Barton.

Barton passed away October 25th in his home in Bella Vista, AR. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30th at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Bella Vista.

He is remembered for his time with Roger Hendrickson and driver Jim Edgington in modfieds, super modifieds and sprinters. Later, he achieved much success in the IMCA modifieds with Gary Shumski and Bob Weber as his drivers.

    ron was a good motor man,helped me along the way with some good advise.could build a motor at a cheap price,made good power and lasted.rest in peace motor man.need more like you.
