The Kossuth County Agriculture and Motorsports Museum is unique in that we feature the history of agriculture, motorsports and Arlen Benschoter’s huge working “O scale” working train collection under one roof.
Our museum documents the history and tradition of ag and motorsports in Kossuth County. From providing a ‘way of life’ for most everyone in the county, to providing entertainment for many, these two museum areas provide education and recognition for residents and visitors to enjoy.
As an added feature, everyone will love the Benschoter Train Station. Arlen Benschoter has farmed in the county his whole life, and his massive collection of working model trains is on display for the first time to the public.
The Kossuth County Agriculture and Motorsports Museum will be a tremendous addition to Algona and our county.
